The 20-year-old’s last NHL game was in November, when he made three appearances but failed to score any points.
Regarding a potential call-up, Ron Francis, general manager of Kraken, mentioned that Wright might be a possibility in the future.
“We think Shane’s current situation is great. We find his playing to be quite appealing. “Our primary goal with Shane is to ensure that he is fully prepared for the upcoming season and can play in our lineup,” Francis stated to NHL.com.”That doesn’t imply we won’t see him before the year is up, but it doesn’t mean we will.
