Time has a way of flying, just like a home run on a tape measure. An ideal illustration? Up until now, Sammy Sosa had not visited Chicago in 17 years.
“I was playing with the Texas Rangers when I was here the last time I was here,” Sosa remarked on Friday morning on The Steve Cochran Show (WLS-890 AM).
Now fifty-five, Sosa is in town for this weekend’s autograph and collectibles show, The Chicago Sports Spectacular, being held in Rosemont. Sosa felt completely at home returning to the city that made him famous throughout the world.
