The Kentucky Wildcats’ summer has begun, and they are exploring through the transfer portal for players who fit what John Calipari and his staff are seeking for on next season’s squad.
With the No. 2 freshmen class on the way, Coach Cal has signed one of the class’s top guards, 5-star combo guard Boogie Fland. Fland, a top 20 player in the class, has added a significant accomplishment to his record by being voted the MaxPreps New York High School Player of the Year.
The senior guard had a great season for Archbishop Stepinac, averaging 19.2 points per game while shooting 46% from the field and 36% from three. He also recorded 6.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 2.4 steals.
