The Las Vegas Raiders announced on Monday that they have re-signed offensive guard Jordan Meredith, an undrafted free agent from 2021 who has spent time with both the Los Angeles Rams and Cleveland Browns over the last three seasons.
Meredith, 26, has only appeared in NFL games for the Raiders, spending time on the Rams and Browns’ practice squads. He played all 17 games last season with one start. He appeared in 92 offensive snaps and 65 special teams snaps, seeing the field in 9% and 15% of the Raiders snaps, respectively.
He originally signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2021, but the team cut him prior to the preseason.
Meredith signed with the Raiders in February 2022, and although he was waived again prior to the preseason, he re-signed to the team’s practice squad and found a more permanent home.
He played one game in 2022, seeing action on 41 offensive snaps and four on special teams. While he hasn’t seen the field much over the last two seasons, he has certainly been a beneficial factor in the organization, both as a member of the practice squad and the main roster.
