As part of the NFL’s International Player Pathway program, Charlie Smyth has inked a three-year contract with the New Orleans Saints as a kicker. The Gaelic football player is on the same road as former Wales rugby star Louis Rees-Zammit, who has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Smyth announced the news on X, the platform that was formerly known as Twitter. “Happy to be a member of the Saint. An incredible trip it has been to get here,” the writer stated.
