As Louis Rees-Zammit’s role with the Kansas City Chiefs becomes increasingly apparent, he has gotten encouraging words from various NFL icons.

On March 28, after putting on a great show at the NFL’s International Player Pathway pro day, Rees-Zammit signed a three-year contract with the Chiefs. The former international rugby player was soon greeted with warmth by a number of his new teammates.

Rees-Zammit disclosed on The Rugby Pod with Dan Biggar that he received messages about his signing from tight end Travis Kelce and quarterback Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs. “Yes, I received messages from Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce saying hello to Kansas City and please let me know if you need anything,” Rees-Zammit remarked.
