The Dallas Cowboys have released Ronald Jones. The two-time Super Bowl champion signed a free agent contract with the team in 2023, right after the team decided to let go of Ezekiel Elliott.
After being suspended for two games for violating the NFL’s policy regarding performance-enhancing chemicals, Jones had a difficult training camp. However, he later sustained a groin injury that kept him out of all three preseason games.
Jones may sign with any NFL team since he is a vested veteran and is not subject to waivers.
