Done Deal: Predators Confirm Another Important Signing

On the ice, Roman Josi is a ferocious competitor, an important teammate, and, as all Nashville Predators opponents have discovered, a force to be reckoned with.

Off the ice, Nashville’s captain has been equally effective.

Josi was recognized on Wednesday with a nomination for the King Clancy Memorial Trophy, which is granted yearly to the player “who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made a significant humanitarian contribution to his community.”

The description couldn’t be more accurate for No. 59.

Since his NHL debut in 2011, Josi has used his position to lead social causes, raise awareness, and effect positive change in Middle Tennessee.
