Only a select few will serve as assistants working with Clippers’ coach Tyronn Lue and Heat’s coach Erik Spoelstra, under the guidance of Warriors’ coach Steve Kerr.

Mark Few, the head coach of Gonzaga’s men’s basketball team, is set to go to Paris after being selected to join Team USA’s coaching staff for the 2024 Olympic Games. Few will serve as an assistant coach, joining Tyronn Lue, the head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers, and Erik Spoelstra, the head coach of the Miami Heat. Steve Kerr, the head coach of the Golden State Warriors, will lead Team USA as the head coach.

Today, Team USA’s managing director Grant Hill unveiled the team lineup and coaching staff.

The squad comprises 12 NBA luminaries, headlined by LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kvein Durant, Anthony Davis, Kawhi Leonard, Jayson Tatum, and Joel Embiid.

With the exception of Few, everyone on the team or coaching staff currently plies their trade in the NBA.

Training camp for Team USA kicks off on July 6 in Las Vegas, with their inaugural match slated for July 28 in Paris against Filip Petrusev and Team Serbia.

In Paris, the Americans will vie for their 17th Olympic gold medal, aiming to secure their fifth consecutive title.
