SAD DEPARTURE: two key players depart Indiana……..

Early in his second season, Banks appeared to be a mainstay in the IU rotation. He played double-digit minutes in 13 of Indiana’s first 13 games.

Banks’ top marks came in victories over Louisville at Madison Square Garden and Kennesaw State at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall.

Banks played 25 minutes and had an impressive stat line against the Cardinals. He finished with four points, eight rebounds, three assists, three blocked shots, and three steals in a game in which Indiana had to come from behind to win.

A little more than a month later, Banks scored in double figures for the first and only time in an Indiana uniform against the Owls. The Georgia native scored 12 points to go along.
