Jaguars star slapped with fine as NFL announce punishment

Christian McCaffrey continues to be a major contributor to the NFL’s fundraising efforts this season.

The 49ers’ running back had his fifth facemask penalty of the season during the team’s Week 10 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The NFL penalized Jaguars linebacker Devin Lloyd $10,927 for his second-quarter facemask penalty against McCaffrey.

It was McCaffrey’s eighth infringement this season, totaling $97,387 in fines. There have been five facemasks, two helmet-to-helmet hits, and one taunting penalty aimed at McCaffrey.
