There’s been a lot of excitement surrounding this year’s WNBA Draft class. Caitlin Clark, the former Iowa star and the first overall pick, has been instrumental in the growth of women’s basketball over the last two seasons. However, a lot of other people have also played a significant role in the sport’s recent success. One such person is Angel Reese, a rookie for the Chicago Sky who played just one day after attending the Met Gala and scoring 13 points and grabbing five rebounds in 19 minutes.

Reese claimed that while at the Met Gala after that performance, she had conversations with a few well-known celebrities. She believes that some of the biggest stars in Hollywood will begin to attend WNBA games, which will help the sport gain popularity.
