Murray (Ut.) Utah Prep guard J.J. Mandaquit, San Bernardino (Calif.) Eleanor Roosevelt guard Brayden Burries, Georgetown (Ky.) Great Crossing center Malachi Moreno, Warrenton (Va.) Highland School forward Nate Ament and Lincoln City (Ind.) Heritage Hills forward Trent Sisley all have been offered in the last couple weeks.

Being a 6-foot-0, 165-pound point guard, he is among the best players in New York. According to 247Sports’ internal rankings, he is ranked as high as the 91st prospect in the cycle, and according to ESPN, he is the third-best player in New York. He is ranked as a four-star prospect and the 104th overall recruit by 247Sports Composite.

James assisted in leading Long Island Lutheran to a 21-5 overall record in his junior year, which included a 10-2 record in the Nike EYBL Scholastic circuit. During those 12 games, James shot 44.0 percent from three-point range and 54.0 percent from the field, averaging 11.9 points, 4.3 assists, and 2.6 rebounds per game.

James is currently Louisville’s sixth 2025 prospect to get an offer.
