Sweden was eliminated from the IIHF Men’s World Championships today after their 7-3 loss to Czechia in the semi-finals. The Minnesota Wild had five players on Sweden and one on Czechia.

Filip Gustavsson started the game for Sweden but was later pulled after allowing five goals. Both Marcus Jong Departhansson and Joel Eriksson Ek scored in the game but Sweden’s tournament has officially come to an end.

Eriksson Ek and Johansson were given awards for being top players in the tournament. Each team will announce three recipients for the awards at the end of the tournament.
