CatsPause has tracked the Wildcats for years and uncovers all the newest info regarding Kentucky’s basketball roster under new head coach Mark Pope.

New Kentucky coach Mark Pope builds roster for 2024-25 season | Lexington Herald Leader

The Kentucky Wildcats experienced a roller coaster of an offseason. After 15 seasons as Kentucky’s basketball coach, John Calipari left to assume the same position at Arkansas. His entire Kentucky basketball squad for the 2023-24 college basketball season has graduated or transferred, leaving the team without a head coach or any scholarship players. To herald in a new era, the Wildcats hired Mark Pope, a talented guard from the team’s 1996 national championship roster.

All but one member of Kentucky’s recruiting class followed Calipari to Fayetteville, leaving Pope with the daunting task of entirely rebuilding the Kentucky basketball squad. The Wildcats have hit the Transfer Portal hard and are still in contact with many players.
