Painful Departure: Here are the names of the Dallas Maverick  players who died in a plane crash today.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has released its preliminary findings regarding the tragic plane crash that occurred on February 9 near Naples, Florida, resulting in two fatalities and several injuries, including one person on the ground.

According to the report, at approximately 3:17 Eastern Time, a Bombardier Inc CL-600-2B16 airplane crashed and was completely destroyed near Naples, Florida.

The crash claimed the lives of two transport pilots, while the cabin attendant and two passengers sustained minor injuries. Additionally, one individual on the ground suffered a minor injury as a result of the crash.

The aircraft was en route to Naples Municipal Airport (APF) in Florida from Ohio State University Airport (OSU) in Columbus, Ohio, where it had departed earlier in the day.

Preliminary analysis of data retrieved from the airplane’s flight data recorder revealed that during the final approach, the aircraft’s warning system alerted the pilots to an oil pressure problem. Approximately twenty seconds later, the flight crew announced the loss of power in both engines and initiated an emergency landing.

Following this communication, there were no further transmissions from the flight crew. The aircraft eventually crash-landed in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75, colliding with the concrete sound barrier before catching fire.

As investigations into the crash continue, the NTSB will delve deeper into the sequence of events leading up to the accident, focusing on determining the root cause and identifying any safety recommendations to prevent similar incidents in the future.
