Athing Mu, in all probability, will not be headlining the upcoming LA Grand Prix. Scheduled to compete in the women’s 400m hurdles category. Mu was expected to be the star of the show. Surprisingly, in what was a mysterious twist, Athing Mu’s name was not available days before the start of the event. While her name was available on the official page of the LA Grand Prix earlier, the same could not be said as only Dalilah Muhammad and Anna Cockrell’s names were visible.
Apart from this, fans on X are also speculating on the possibility of the Olympian missing out on the big event. However, no official announcement has been made about the same by the authorities. The reason for Athing Mu’s absence, if true, is also in the shadows.
