The NFL world lost a legend this past week with the passing of ESPN analyst Chris Mortensen, and after the news broke, the Pittsburgh Steelers made sure to send their thoughts to his family and loved ones.
The Steelers sent a message on X, formerly known as Twitter, sending their condolences to the family of Mortensen.
“We send our condolences to the family and loved ones of Chris Mortensen. May he rest in peace,” they wrote.
Mortensen was 72-years-old and was one of, if not the, most iconic figure in sports media when it came to the NFL and the NFL Draft. In 2016, he received the Pro Football Writers of America’s Dick McCann Award, and was honored by the Pro Football Hall of Fame later that year.
