Over the weekend, legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady spoke with ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith at Fanatics Fest, the “Comic-Con” for sports.
Stephen A. interviewed Brady about various topics, including rookie quarterbacks, the importance of exceptional receivers, Bill Belichick, and the biggest threat to the back-to-back Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in 2024.
Brady didn’t provide just one answer to the question about the biggest threat to the Chiefs; he listed three
“I think it’s probably still the 49ers, and the Packers, I think, are going to be a great team,” Brady stated. And you know what, the Rams are going to be a good team this year, too.”
Both teams made the postseason in 2023 as the sixth and seventh seeds, respectively. However, many people around the league didn’t see them as true contenders at the time.
The Packers lost to the 49ers in the Divisional Round with first-year starting quarterback Jordan Love and a very young receiving corps. Meanwhile, the Rams were defeated in the Wild Card Round by the Lions as they were still rebuilding their team after losing many players following their Super Bowl win in 2022.
