Carlton Football Club Signs New Contract with Star Midfielder Sam Walsh
The Carlton Football Club has officially announced a new multi-year contract with star midfielder Sam Walsh, securing one of the league’s brightest talents for the foreseeable future. The new deal is reported to be worth $8 million over four years.
Walsh, who has emerged as a key player for the Blues since being drafted in 2018, enjoyed a standout season in 2023, averaging 30 disposals per game and earning All-Australian honors for the second consecutive year.
