FANTASTICO AGGIORNAMENTO: Milan e Inter presentano ufficialmente l’interesse per il progetto del nuovo stadio di San Siro……….

AC Milan and Inter Milan have jointly made a significant move by officially submitting a non-binding expression of interest to acquire the land around their historic San Siro stadium from the Milan City Council. This step comes as both clubs seek to move forward with constructing a new, state-of-the-art stadium within the same area. The valuation of the land is expected to be finalized shortly, with an estimate of around €200 million from the Revenue Agency.

AC Milan President Paolo Scaroni emphasized that this expression of interest was essential to advance discussions. Importantly, the proposal is not legally binding, meaning both clubs retain the option to reconsider their plans. The Milan City Council has already acknowledged this interest and is preparing for further discussions, starting with an appraisal of the land’s value.

This development follows prolonged debate and differing visions for the stadium’s future, especially considering San Siro’s historical significance, which has led to opposition to its demolition. If the plans are realized, a new stadium would be constructed post-2026, after San Siro hosts the opening ceremony of the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics.
