Dylan Brown has committed to the Parramatta Eels until the end of the 2025 season, with a player option to extend his contract until 2031.¹ ² ³ This is a massive boost for the Eels, who have been working to retain their young talent.
Brown, who joined the Eels’ junior pathways system in 2016, has been a key player for the team, making 82 first-grade appearances and representing New Zealand in five Test matches. The 22-year-old five-eighth has expressed his gratitude to the club, saying he “couldn’t picture myself anywhere else”.
The contract extension is a testament to Brown’s growth and potential, with Eels General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill praising his contributions both on and off the field. Brown’s commitment to the Eels is also a significant step towards securing the team’s future, with other key players like Junior Paulo and Clint Gutherson having already signed long-term deals.
With Brown’s future secured, the Eels can now focus on retaining their other star players, including Mitchell Moses, who is currently in negotiations with the club.
