Netflix has announced the upcoming release of a groundbreaking documentary series titled Vikings: In the Trenches, offering an in-depth look into the Minnesota Vikings’ storied history and their pursuit of a Super Bowl championship.
The series aims to provide viewers with exclusive access to the team’s inner workings, including locker room discussions, training sessions, and strategic meetings. Interviews with past and present players, coaches, and legends such as Fran Tarkenton, Alan Page, and Cris Carter will delve into the franchise’s legacy. The documentary is set to premiere in the spring of 2025.
In addition to this, Netflix released a docuseries titled Receiver in the summer of 2024, featuring Minnesota Vikings star Justin Jefferson. This eight-episode series provides an intimate look into the lives of top NFL receivers, including Jefferson, Davante Adams, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Deebo Samuel, and George Kittle, during the 2023 season. The series offers unprecedented access to the players’ experiences on and off the field.
