**WELCOME: Yetur Gross-Matos Accepts Free Agency Transfer as Defensive Lineman for Green Bay Packers**

The Green Bay Packers have made a major move in free agency, announcing the acquisition of defensive lineman Yetur Gross-Matos. The former Carolina Panthers player has agreed to join the Packers on a multi-year contract, adding another dynamic piece to their defensive front.

Gross-Matos, a versatile defensive lineman, has shown his ability to disrupt opposing offenses throughout his career. Drafted by the Panthers in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, he has consistently proven himself as a reliable pass rusher and run-stopper, totaling 11.5 sacks and 27 tackles for loss in his four seasons with Carolina.

Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst expressed excitement over the addition, saying, “Yetur brings a lot of potential to our defensive line. His athleticism and ability to rush the passer will fit well with our defensive scheme. We’re excited to welcome him to Green Bay.”

The Packers’ defense is coming off a solid season, and the addition of Gross-Matos is expected to further bolster their ability to pressure the quarterback and stop the run. Fans are eager to see how Gross-Matos can contribute to a defensive unit that has been making strides in recent years.

Gross-Matos will now work alongside other defensive standouts, including Rashan Gary and Kenny Clark, as Green Bay looks to improve upon their defense and contend for the NFC North title. The 24-year-old defensive lineman will join the team as they prepare for training camp later this offseason, ready to make his mark in the Green Bay Packers’ defensive line rotation.
