Double the Talent, Double the Delight: Cavinder Twins Anchor Tennessee Lady Vols’ Future……
In a significant boost to the Tennessee Lady Volunteers’ basketball program, twin sisters Haley and Hanna Cavinder have announced their commitment to join the team for the upcoming 2025-2026 season. Renowned for their on-court synergy and substantial social media presence, the Cavinder twins are poised to make a considerable impact both athletically and in terms of the program’s visibility.
The Cavinder twins began their collegiate basketball journey at Fresno State, where they played three seasons before transferring to the University of Miami for the 2022-2023 season. At Miami, Haley averaged 12.2 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, earning second-team All-ACC honors, while Hanna contributed 3.8 points per game off the bench. Their efforts were instrumental in leading the Hurricanes to their first Elite Eight appearance in the NCAA tournament.
Following their season at Miami, both sisters initially decided to step away from college basketball to explore opportunities in sports entertainment and business ventures, including a partnership with WWE and the launch of their fitness app, TWOgether. However, their passion for basketball reignited, leading to Haley’s brief commitment to TCU before both sisters ultimately chose to reunite on the court.
Their decision to join the Lady Vols underscores Tennessee’s commitment to enhancing its roster with experienced and dynamic players. The twins’ unique blend of athleticism and entrepreneurial spirit is expected to elevate the team’s performance and broaden its appeal to a wider audience.
As the Lady Vols prepare for the upcoming season, the addition of the Cavinder twins signifies a promising era for Tennessee women’s basketball, with fans eagerly anticipating the impact these talented sisters will bring to the court.
