The Penn State Nittany Lions women’s soccer team made a significant impact in St. Louis, Missouri, with a commanding 3-1 victory over the 19th-ranked Saint Louis Billikens on September 1, 2024. This match marked a rematch of their intense 2023 NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 encounter, where Penn State had previously edged out Saint Louis in overtime.

Redshirt senior forward Kaitlyn MacBean led the charge for the Nittany Lions, delivering a stellar performance that included a hat trick—the 25th in the program’s history.
