JUST IN: Penn State Star Player Suffers Cramp Injury
Penn State basketball took a hit tonight as star guard Kanye Clary was forced to leave the game due to a cramp injury. The incident occurred during the second half of their matchup against Minnesota when Clary took an elbow to the face in a collision. He immediately grabbed at his face and had to be helped off the court by team trainers. He did not return to the game.
Head coach Mike Rhoades addressed the situation afterward, saying Clary is “day-to-day” and that his status will be monitored ahead of their upcoming road game against Rutgers.
Clary has been a standout for the Nittany Lions this season, averaging 18.4 points per game—one of the top scorers in the Big Ten. His presence on the court has been crucial to Penn State’s offense, and his condition will be closely watched as the team continues its push through the season.
Further updates are expected as Clary undergoes evaluation.
