BREAKING NEWS: Crimson Tide Wraps Up Spring with A-Day Game Under Coach DeBoer
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — The Alabama Crimson Tide officially closed out their 2025 spring football season with the annual Golden Flake A-Day Game on April 12 at Bryant-Denny Stadium — the first under new head coach Kalen DeBoer.
This year’s A-Day Game featured a new format, moving away from the traditional Crimson vs. White matchup in favor of an offense vs. defense setup. Coach DeBoer called the event “practice No. 15,” focusing on evaluation rather than spectacle. The change allowed coaches to better assess player development and team chemistry ahead of the fall season.
More than 72,000 fans packed into the stadium to catch an early glimpse of the 2025 squad. As always, standout performers were recognized with the Dwight Stephenson Award for Most Valuable Lineman and the Dixie Howell Memorial Award for Most Valuable Player.
With spring drills now in the books, DeBoer and his staff will shift their focus toward finalizing the roster and preparing for fall camp. The new era of Alabama football is officially underway.
