Swinney, who has been at the helm of the Tigers since 2008, emphasized his dedication to the program, stating, “I’m here because this is where I want to be.”
Despite receiving numerous opportunities to leave Clemson, including interest from NFL teams and other college programs, Swinney has consistently chosen to remain with the Tigers. He believes that there’s no better time to lead Clemson than now and expresses a deep connection to the university and its community.
