JUST IN: Plane Crash in Alabama Claims 12 Lives, Authorities Investigating Cause

 

A devastating plane crash near Montgomery, Alabama, on April 25, 2025, has claimed the lives of all 12 people on board. The private passenger jet, traveling from Atlanta to Birmingham, crashed in a wooded area about 10 miles south of Montgomery Regional Airport.

 

Witnesses described hearing a loud noise, followed by the plane descending rapidly before it crashed. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but tragically, none of the 12 passengers survived. The identities of the victims have not yet been disclosed as authorities work to notify their families.

 

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) have launched investigations into the cause of the crash. While mechanical failure is suspected, no official conclusions have been made, and weather conditions at the time were clear.

 

Governor Emily Thompson expressed deep sorrow over the tragedy, offering condolences to the victims’ families and promising support for the investigation. Memorials have already begun in Montgomery as the community mourns the loss.
