Former Ole Miss defensive tackle Walter Nolen was selected by the Arizona Cardinals 16th overall, and quarterback Jaxson Dart was selected by the New York Giants 25th overall in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft on Thursday night. It’s the fourth time in program history that Ole Miss has had multiple first-round picks in the same draft – 2016, 2009 and 1966. In 1966, Mike Dennis was drafted by the AFL’s Buffalo Bills and Stan Hindman by the NFL’s San Francisco 49ers.
