BREAKING NEWS: Fatal Accident on I-75 Near Lexington Claims One Life
A fatal crash occurred early this morning on Interstate 75 near Lexington, Kentucky, resulting in the death of one individual.
The Lexington Police Department reported that the incident took place around 5 a.m. near the Winchester Road exit (mile marker 110). The vehicle, traveling northbound, reportedly lost control and veered off the road. The lone occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency responders also discovered a dog in the wreckage, which was taken to a local veterinarian and is expected to recover.
The police’s Collision Reconstruction Unit is currently investigating the cause of the crash. While northbound lanes were temporarily closed, the roadway has since reopened.
