Painful Departure: Here are the names of the Florida State players who died in a plane crash today.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has released its preliminary report on the tragic plane crash that occurred on February 9 near Naples, Florida, claiming the lives of two individuals and injuring several others, including a person on the ground.

According to the report, at approximately 3:17 Eastern Time, a Bombardier Inc CL-600-2B16 airplane crashed and was completely destroyed in the accident near Naples, Florida.

The crash resulted in the fatalities of two transport pilots, while the cabin attendant and two passengers onboard sustained minor injuries. Additionally, one person on the ground suffered a minor injury as a result of the crash.

The airplane was on its return journey to Naples Municipal Airport (APF) in Florida from Ohio State University Airport (OSU) in Columbus, Ohio, where it had previously flown earlier in the day.

Preliminary analysis of data retrieved from the airplane’s flight data recorder revealed that as the aircraft was making its final approach, the plane’s warning system alerted the pilots to an oil pressure problem. Approximately twenty seconds later, the flight crew announced that they had lost power in both engines and were initiating an emergency landing.

Following the crew’s last transmission, there were no further communications recorded from the flight crew. The plane subsequently crash-landed in the southbound lanes of Interstate 75, colliding with the concrete sound barrier before erupting into flames.

As investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident, the NTSB will delve deeper into the factors contributing to the crash, with a focus on determining the cause and identifying any safety recommendations to prevent similar accidents in the future.
