University at Albany quarterback Reese Poffenbarger is heading to Miami.
The Great Danes’ signal caller, who was named to All-CAA Second Team Offense and Stats Perform FCS All-America Third Team, told ESPN he chose the Hurricanes after drawing interest from several Power 5 schools.
Poffenbarger is the second UAlbany player to transfer to a Power 5 school this month.
Great Danes and All-American defensive end Anton Juncaj recently announced his commitment to Arkansas.
