BREAKING: Florida has been pulled out of

After spending most of the season relying on Joe Lunardi’s bracketology projections, the Florida Gators have moved outside the bubble, according to the most recent ESPN update.

Gators face difficult road

Lunardi’s latest predictions come following Florida’s 0-2 start in SEC play, which included a blowout loss to Ole Miss. Beating Arkansas should help Florida save face, but the Gators must defeat Tennessee and/or Kentucky to re-enter the race.

Currently, the Volunteers are the second seed in the Midwest Region, while the Wildcats are the third seed in the South. Looking at the rest of the conference’s programs, Auburn is a 3-seed in the West; Alabama and Texas A&M have the 6 and 9-seeds in the East; the Rebels join the Vols in the Midwest as the 8-seed; and South Carolina makes the field of 68 as a play-in team for the 11-seed in the South.

The current top seeds are Arizona, Connecticut, Houston, and Purdue.
