Roman Wilson, who led Michigan football in catches, yards, and touchdowns during the national championship season, has officially declared for the NFL draft.
The senior wideout had one year of eligibility remaining, but his appearance on the Senior Bowl roster hinted at his professional goals. Wilson verified the news on Sunday via social media.
After scoring eight touchdowns in the first five weeks of the season, Wilson’s scoring rate slowed significantly. However, he produced some of Michigan’s most important plays in critical circumstances, including a touchdown against Ohio State and a fingertip catch to extend Michigan’s season against Alabama in the Rose Bowl before scoring the game-tying touchdown to force overtime.

Wilson completed 2023 with 48 receptions, 789 yards, and 12 touchdowns, all team highs. He added 10 rushing yards on one carry.
