The Titans have finished their fourth interview for the head coaching position.
Mike Macdonald, Ravens defensive coordinator, conducted a video interview with the team on Saturday.
Macdonald led Baltimore’s defense to the No. 1 ranking in scoring defense in 2023, allowing only 280 points. The Ravens placed sixth in total defense, allowing 301.4 yards per game.
Macdonald, 36, has been Baltimore’s defensive coordinator for the past two seasons. He previously worked as a defensive assistant (2015-16), defensive backs coach (2017), and linebackers coach (2018-2020). He spent the 2021 season as Michigan’s defensive coordinator before returning to the Ravens in 2022.
On Friday, the Titans interviewed Bengals offensive coordinator Brian Callahan and Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka for the job. Earlier Saturday, the Titans interviewed interim Raiders coach Antonio Pierce for the post.
In-person interviews are prohibited until January 22, however Zoom interviews are permitted prior to that date.
