Following his official visit to campus over the weekend, San Diego State offensive tackle Brandon Crenshaw-Dickson announced his commitment to the Florida Gators on Sunday afternoon.
The former Aztec still has two years of eligibility left.
Over three seasons at San Diego State, the Inglewood, Calif., native appeared in 37 games, including 20 consecutive starts as a sophomore and junior. He played both right and left tackle. Crenshaw-Dickson started all 14 games at right tackle in 2021, proving his worth as a bookend tackle talent.
His impressive power and consistency led to a move to left tackle for the 2022 season, where he appeared and started all 13 games while putting in another productive season on the other side of the line.
Crenshaw-Dickson flipped between both sides of the line of scrimmage in his final year at SDSU, appearing in 10 games.

According to Pro Football Focus, the 6-foot-6, 310-pounder allowed just nine pressures on the year, demonstrating his impressive pass-protecting abilities at both positions.
Following the year, he entered his name into the NCAA Transfer Portal, hoping for an increase in competition before entering the draft.
Florida is now expected to benefit from the relocation.
His experience and versatility significantly improve the Gators’ underwhelming offensive front. He’s expected to compete for a starting tackle spot in the 2024 season.
The battle will most likely be at right tackle, where incumbent starter Dameion George Jr. — who struggled significantly during his lone season in Gainesville in 2023 and could be moved to the interior — will likely face off against any other veteran transfer additions the Gators may bring in.
If he is unable to claim the starting spot, Crenshaw-Dickson provides valuable depth as a swing tackle for a team that likes to rotate its offensive line when the talent allows.
He has the size that Rob Sale and Darnell Stapleton have sought in their outside offensive line prospects since they arrived at UF.
Crenshaw-Dickson is Florida’s first official transfer addition this offseason. Billy Napier and company will work tirelessly in the coming months to replace the 18 outgoing members of the 2023 roster.
The trenches on both sides of the football field will be a major focus of that effort.
