Melbourne Storm motivates Next Generation of Rugby League Players Through Community Program and various Club visits

Last week, players from the Melbourne Storm rugby league team visited Wyndham as part of their annual Storm in Your Club project. This program, a collaboration between Storm and NRL Victoria, seeks to assist and promote rugby league by visiting local clubs in Melbourne and Geelong.

The effort began on July 23 with players Will Warbricki and Marion Seve visiting the Truganina Rabbitohs. The Rabbitohs acknowledged their appreciation on socal media, writing, “A huge thank you to Melbourne Storm and NRL Victoria for organizing the Storm in Your Club event.” They also emphasized the visit’s influence on the local community, saying, “The kids’ eyes lit up just seeing their heroes in person.” These experiences are extremely meaningful to our local rugby league community and serve as inspiration for future generations.”

Storm players were due to visit both the Rabbitohs and the Werribee Bears last week. And the program doesn’t stop there; Storm players will visit 17 more clubs on July 29 and 30.
