The 63-year-old former Countdown presenter, brought up in Rhyl and Prestayn, is one of several celebrities battling it out in a test of their culinary skills in the show that is best described as Strictly MasterChef.
The programme, which aired on Tuesday, July 30, saw Carol pair up with Scottish restaurateur Tony Singh, who has an impressive 36 years of cooking experience.

In this latest venture, she put her cookery skills to work under Tony’s guidance, creating a salmon coulibiac dish to impress the show’s panel of chefs.
