The defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs may be on the verge of winning the AFC West division title and re-entering the NFL playoffs, but Patrick Mahomes and company’s 2023 season has been anything but easy.
It appears that the Chiefs’ inability to reload at the wide receiver position this season has begun to impact the team’s ability to be dominant on the offensive side of the football, which they’ve done with ease since this team took off with Mahomes at the helm.

The Chiefs’ offense appeared to be virtually unstoppable at one point, with arguably the league’s best quarterback, tight end, and wide receiver leading the way.
Even though Travis Kelce is still playing well and Mahomes is still one of the league’s best quarterbacks, the team is severely lacking at wide receiver, and things only got worse in Week 16.
The Chiefs have placed wide receiver Skyy Moore on the Reserve/Injured list, according to the team’s Twitter account.
