BREAKING: Braves updates on overseas signings, and more

Monday was a busy day in Major League Baseball, with teams looking to add plenty of new talent to their farm systems. This includes the Braves, who as of this writing had added 12 new names to the franchise on International Signing Day. Of course, the class’s top prospect is infielder Jose Perdomo, whom the Braves signed for about $5 million. Atlanta, along with a few other noteworthy names, plans to continue restocking its minor league system at the lower levels. And perhaps, like Perdomo, a couple players from this class will surprise and emerge as better-than-expected prospects for the Braves.
