News in New Orleans Saints head coach position

The New Orleans Saints’ divisional rival has met with the six-time Super Bowl-winning coach.

NFL insider Tom Pelissero reports that Bill Belichick and Falcons owner Arthur Blank met to discuss the Atlanta head coaching position. Also, “No agreement is imminent.” But there is a shared interest, and discussions are ongoing.”

After 24 years, the New England Patriots fired Bill Belichick and hired Jerod Mayo as head coach. He has eight Super Bowl rings: two as an assistant coach and six as a head coach.
