2024 NRL Signings Tracker: Mamouzelos inks new Bunnies deal; Dragons add Marschke

The Rabbitohs have re-signed utility Peter Mamouzelos on a three-year extension through to the end of the 2027 season.

Mamouzelos made his NRL debut for the Rabbitohs in 2021 against the Knights and has chalked up seven appearances in the top grade.

The 23-year-old played a leading role in South Sydney’s NSW Cup premiership success and NRL State Championship triumph in 2023.

“I’m really excited to be extending my time with this Club,” Mamouzelos said.

“I told my manager I didn’t want to go anywhere else. I’ve grown up here in the South Sydney area, it’s always been my team and I love this club.”

The Dragons, meanwhile, have added to their depth in the halves with the signing of playmaker Jesse Marschke for the 2024 season.

The 26-year-old has appeared 72 times in the NSW Cup, scoring 18 tries, and last year helped the Bears to a grand final appearance.

“Jesse adds valuable depth to our spine and is coming off a strong season with the Bears,” Dragons coach Shane Flanagan said.

“We look forward to welcoming him to the club as we ramp up our preparations for the start of the 2024 season.”

The Storm and Wests Tigers meanwhile have agreed on a player swap which will see Justin Olam and Shawn Blore trade clubs ahead of the start of the 2024 season.

Both players have put pen to paper on three-year deals with their new clubs, with premiership-winning centre Olam departing the Storm to link up with the Wests Tigers and Blore heading to Melbourne after three seasons at the joint venture.

After securing a release from the final year of his contract with the Panthers, Zac Hosking has joined the Raiders on a three-year deal effective immediately.

The 26-year-old back-rower arrives in the nation’s capital after playing a pivotal role in Penrith’s premiership-winning campaign in 2023, in which he appeared in 21 matches.

Raiders NRL recruitment manager Joel Carbone said Hosking will bring quality and versatility to Ricky Stuart’s squad.
