Magic Johnson believes the Golden State Warriors want to make a trade.

Lakers legend Magic Johnson thinks the Warriors are among several teams that need to make a move.

The Golden State Warriors have one of the league’s most notable rosters, including future Hall of Famers Steph Curry, Chris Paul, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.

Despite winning four NBA championships since 2015, the Warriors have appeared extremely vulnerable this season and are not currently in the playoff picture.

On Tuesday, Basketball Hall of Famer Magic Johnson posted on X, naming some of the Western Conference teams he believes should make a move. Johnson wrote, “Looking at the Western Conference, I believe the World Champion Nuggets, Clippers, Timberwolves, and Thunder do not require a trade.” The Lakers, Pelicans, Suns, Mavericks, Warriors, and Kings should definitely make some trades before the deadline

The Warriors were not the only team mentioned by the five-time NBA Champion, but it is still noteworthy.

He did not specify who he thinks they should trade, but any move that improves the roster would include one of their best players (Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga, and Moses Moody are all possible candidates).

The Warriors are currently the 12th seed in the Western Conference, with a record of 18-22 through 40 games.

They are 3-7 in their last ten games, including a two-game losing streak.

The Warriors will host the Atlanta Hawks at the Chase Center on Wednesday evening.
