Tessa Janecke,   a standout forward for the Penn State women’s hockey team, has recently achieved significant milestones that underscore her exceptional talent and leadership. On January 25, 2025, in a game against Lindenwood, Janecke scored a goal that elevated her to Penn State’s all-time leading scorer, male or female, with 141 career points.

Throughout the 2024-25 season, Janecke has been instrumental in Penn State’s success, recording 24 goals and 28 assists over 37 games. Her performance has not only led the team but also earned her individual accolades, including being named the Atlantic Hockey America (AHA) Player of the Year and Forward of the Year. Additionally, she has been recognized as a top-ten finalist for the prestigious Patty Kazmaier Award for the second consecutive year.

Janecke’s consistent excellence and record-breaking achievements continue to elevate Penn State’s prominence in collegiate women’s hockey.
