Looking forward to the next football season, Wests Tigers is excited to continue its community engagement with Mater Dei as we begin the new school year.
Mater Dei, a highly specialized institution with its headquarters in Camden, is committed to giving disabled children, teens, and adults exceptional opportunity.
In keeping with past tradition, the Wests Tigers observed the “International Day of People with Disability” once more in late 2023 by launching the “Train like a Tiger” initiative at Mater Dei’s School and Nextpath programs.
Rather than concentrating on the infirmities of Mater Dei children and young adults, this enjoyable gathering recognized their skills.
Kenneth Tuala, the Wests Tigers Community Lead, reports that the school is receiving a terrific reception from both his club and the greatest game ever.
“This is an additional instance of how Rugby League can aid in spreading positive messages, reiterating the notion that every individual, irrespective of their capabilities, can contribute and flourish in diverse domains of life,” stated Tuala.
Director of Development at Mater Dei, Sarah Ryan says the ongoing partnership with Wests Tigers is crucial.
