Penn State tight end Tyler Warren has reportedly signed a four-year, $160 million contract extension with the university, solidifying his position as a cornerstone of the Nittany Lions’ football program. This extension underscores Warren’s exceptional contributions on the field and his integral role in Penn State’s future success.

Warren’s 2024 season was nothing short of historic. He set new Big Ten records for receiving yards and receptions by a tight end, accumulating 1,062 yards and 88 catches. Additionally, he tied the Penn State record for most touchdown receptions by a tight end, previously held by Pat Freiermuth

His versatility was evident as he also contributed in the running game, amassing 191 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns. Warren’s performance earned him the John Mackey Award as the nation’s top tight end, making him the first Penn State player to receive this honor
