Breaking News: Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan He Back
Brian Callahan has been reinstated as the head coach of the Tennessee Titans after a tumultuous 2024 season. The Titans concluded the year with a disappointing 3–14 record, securing the top overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Despite the team’s struggles, Callahan will remain at the helm as the organization seeks to rebuild and revitalize its roster.
Callahan, 40, was appointed as the Titans’ head coach in January 2024, succeeding Mike Vrabel. Prior to joining Tennessee, he served as the offensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals, where he played a pivotal role in developing quarterback Joe Burrow and leading the team to Super Bowl LVI. His extensive experience with elite quarterbacks, including Peyton Manning, Matthew Stafford, and Derek Carr, has positioned him as a key figure in the Titans’ efforts to develop their young quarterback, Will Levis.
In addition to Callahan’s return, the Titans have made significant changes to their coaching staff. Notably, Bill Callahan, Brian’s father and a seasoned NFL coach, has been hired as the team’s new offensive line coach. This move aims to address the Titans’ offensive line issues, which were a contributing factor to their struggles in the previous season. Other staff additions include Tyke Tolbert as wide receivers coach and Randy Jordan as running backs coach, both bringing valuable experience to the team.
As the Titans embark on this new chapter, the focus will be on developing their young talent and building a competitive team for the upcoming season. With a revamped coaching staff and a renewed commitment to improvement, the Titans are poised to make strides toward returning to playoff contention.
