In February 2025, a small fire occurred outside the University of Georgia’s Stegeman Coliseum during a gymnastics meet. The fire was quickly extinguished, and no injuries were reported.
Additionally, in March 2024, smoke from an external fire entered Atlanta’s State Farm Arena through the HVAC system, leading to its temporary closure. The fire was contained, and only one person was reported with smoke inhalation.
